..and left it overnight with the door shut fully intending to run a wash in the morning.......
The seal had some black stuff in it. It is not a regular thing. I have done this once before with this washer and leaving bleach in overnight followed by a hot wash next morning works, only I forgot I had done it............
I got up and sorted a wash out. A delicate wash with woolies and tops my daughter wears, - all nice expensive things.
I put a woolen wash on and later when it was done I opened the door and emptied the washing out and noticed how clean the door seal was ...and then the penny dropped. OMG... the bleach...
The washing was fine. Clean and smelled nice. No harm done. This time :) I got away with it.
