The main witness in court to support someone?

Has anyone done it virtually?

When giving you side and cross examined by other party has it been bad?
Has anyone been thrown off by a question?

Just need advice please asap.

Not been in that exact scenario, but I have given evidence in court a few times for my job. Even though the other side‘s barrister will be speaking to you, only look and speak to the magistrate or judge. It will feel very rude but you are answering to the court not to the barrister. Practice beforehand with family if you can because it feels really odd. Only answered the exact questions that the barrister has asked. Don’t get angry. Just be polite and matter of fact. And remember, If they are really trying to wind you up that means that they haven’t got anything else to use so you are on a winner then.

Also, if you don’t know the answer to the question, say so. They can’t argue with you if you genuinely can’t remember.
