How can I get my head back into healthy eating?

I was losing weight and doing so well up until about a week, have taken my eye off the ball and gained about 5lb! I then feel depressed about the weight gain and eat rubbish to comfort myself. How can I get my head back in the right place? Struggle to motivate myself to exercise as well.
I find it very hard to meal plan cos husband is pescetarian and kids are fussy!!

No answer I'm afraid op but I'm in the same boat, except that my heads been out of the game for a few years 😬. Really, really need to shed a good 3 stone, I know how to do it, I just need to flick that switch to make a start, but it's just so difficult!

It is about flicking a switch isn't it, and planning!

@GeneLovesJezebel

How much exercise did you do last week ?
Miles and miles of walking but nothing else.

You need to get your heart pumping more. Do you swim, gym or anything else ?
I regularly do 10,000 steps and I don’t lose weight from it.

I intend to do weights and workouts, I own weights but need to motivate myself to actually do it. I generally feel like a dick doing exercise which puts me off.

One work out can turn it around, just one.

You are on the cusp of change and the fact you know how to achieve this puts you miles ahead of everyone else.

Just do that one session, one swim and one small change.

Then the next day another small change, it's just baby steps and then it's not a big thing it's just lots of little things.

Thank you that's really good advice.

Bump
I'm a binge eater and I'm totally out of control at the moment, just don't know how to get my self control back.
