First world problem - Quark shortage

I like eating the soft cheese Quark for breakfast. However I haven't been able to find any in the shops for two weeks - has anyone else had this issue?

Been to Waitrose, Morrisons and Sainsburys. All have empty shelves where it should be.

Tried Quark once. Never again. Horrid.

Sorry. I live in a quark loving nation and we are overrun with it. Quark everything. Quark cakes, quark dessert. I hate the stuff.

You can add lemon juice to Greek yogurt and then it tastes similar. Like off yogurt basically

Quark often comes from Germany so I assume you need to thank Brexit for it.

I hate the Quark they sell here, taste awful as it's Zero % fat. In Germany Quark is a full fat version and so much nicer. I can't bake lots of my cake recipes as they ask for the real stuff. Even my German online grocery store can't guarantee they have it alwasy.

Try Tesco.

There are also recipes online to make your own from scratch if you can’t find any.
