Accidentally pulled out mirena?

I've just pulled out my Mirena coil, thinking the string was a tampon. It wasn't painful at all. Does that mean it was probably dislodged anyway?

Not necessarily. The coils I've had removed in the past have never hurt coming out. Perhaps do a preg test to reassure yourself if you're worried before booking to get another put in.
