16 weeks pregnant

Hey ladies, I'm currently 16 weeks pregnant and have been getting on and off sharp pains in my lower belly along my bikini line. Mainly in the center and slightly to the right of the center area for the past 48 hours. Has anyone experienced this? Is it anything to worry about? I have had no bleeding just this sharp pain on and off.
Any advise, thoughts or personal experiences would be lovely xx

Sounds like round ligament pain, which I seem to remember being very painful and annoying in the second trimester! Totally normal, but if you’re worried or have any other symptoms you should call your midwife.

I did think this at first but then when I googled it, roung ligament pain sounded like it is more in the groin area however this is my first pregnancy which has made it this far and you could be completely right! :) x

Yes I've had this, currently 16 weeks also. I just put it down to round ligament pain but agree it can be a bit sharp and concerning at times!
