just don't like them, no big reason. same way I love Metalica , but don't like Kayne west. no real reason.

I think most artists surely have a good song in them, even if youre not a big fan?

Im surprised by someone feeling weird about liking a song by RHCP as theyre a proper band with musicians and not generally thought to be shit music, even by people who arent into them.

My DD and I have a shared Spotify list.
She had snuck an Ed Sheeran song on there.
I can report my therapy is going well as long as I stay out of the sun, don't get wet and I'm under strict orders not to be fed after midnight!

Ha! I liked "Sorry" by JB , it was a few years ago . My DD and her bestie made me take them to Hyde Park ( tain journey , queues/ 12 hours standing about/train journey home) I had heard (from the best friend and others ) that JB is a bit tardy with his time keeping and was prepared to be all CatsBumFace but no , he was on cue , excellent set and quite a few outfit changes (to encorage his fans to buy the overpriced merch)

Blurred Lines is quite catchy, it could be a great song if only the lyrics weren't the vilest misogyny. But unfortunately, they are, so I don't (can't) listen to it. Just a choice I've made, other opinions will vary.

I was devastated when I first realised All I Want for Christmas Is You was by Mariah Carey!

I was convinced she covered it and spent ages looking for the original artist... there wasn't one 😭

If you can get over this huge psychological block, you could buy the song by itself and nothing else that they've done.

I have to say, it's been a long time since I encountered this as a problem.
