Dd1 age 12 has asked for this on her phone. She isn't allowed TikTok (most of her friends aren't either) but a few have this and she described it as a 'sort of version for just your friends'

Dh has done a bit of research and is going to download it and take a look but from looking online it seems to be more about the creating videos and less of the sharing?

Can anyone shed any light? One of their friends who has it has a parent who's job involves working in some pretty murky areas (police) and who is easily the most protective of their friendship group as a result. That leads me to think benign end of spectrum and as long as regular safety rules applied, ok?

Dd1 is pretty sensible so far with these kind of things and I'd like to say yes as she rarely complains re no TikTok but obviously not if inappropriate.
