Opinions/advice please

So i have the Mirena coil in which will have been in for around 4 years so due to come out by 5. This is my second one, i have not really had any problems i can think of. I am 44 soon but have been peri menopausal for a while now. Last time the doctor said that due to the oestrogen in it its good during the menopause, however i have been thinking when this is due to come out to get the copper coil, i dont like the idea of the hormones and copper is more natural.

Im wondering those who use coils what do you use and have you changed from one type to the other and what was your reason so that it can help me make an educated decision on what might be the better coil to go for.

Thanks in advance

Mirena doesn't contain oestrogen.
Copper coil can make periods heavier and more painful apparently
