locksmith for internal doors

Hi All,

I want to change some of the locks in our new(ish) house. The last owners made a bit of a mess of it and lots of the latches on doors don't spring back, plus the bathroom doesn't lock properly...

I've googled replacing ourselves and it looks more complicated than I thought and I'm terrified of messing it up and getting trapped in the bathroom when a lock fails!

Is this something a locksmith does? Or do they just deal with external doors? And if so, any advice on a good locksmith in south east London?

Thank you!

I'd think a locksmith would just deal with doors that lock with a key, and getting into them if you lose the keys. For normal internal doors is just going to be a mortice latch thing I'd imagine, where handle turns a square bar to open it. So a carpenter or general handy person really I'd say

Hi, My husband is a local locksmith. If you are still in need of someone to fix the locks for you please give him a call on 07803721200.

For internal doors Surrey you’d use a carpenter or decent hand I’m an not a locksmith?

*Surely not Surrey - I’m not suggesting process would be different in that county to anywhere else 🤣🤣
