I’ve had a hell of a day so would love to read about everyone else’s to soothe my soul!

I’m about to do some sewing. Dc watching tv before bath. Hope you have a restful evening ahead

Watched a bit of Alex Rider and Green Planet and now DS is watching Minecraft bollocks on YouTube and DD is writing a novel (!!).
Bath time is imminent.
Can of Guinness chilling in the fridge or I might have a glass of red for after story time. Peaceful.

Dh has gone out. I am (in theory) reading a book with a glass of wine. However, my book is upstairs on my bedside table and I can’t be bothered to go and get it so I’m messing about on my phone instead.

Dd16 just got back from a rare day out shopping with her 2 friends.

Ds11 on PS4 literally talking so loudly he is shouting. Dd11 quietly watching tv.

I have just had a bath. Dp in bath. Twins had a bath. Dd16 shouting she wants a bath NOW 🙄.

Putting 4th wash of day on and sitting down to watch some sort of crap on the telly 😊

I'm sat on the sofa with one dog washing his bits very noisily and farting for good measure.
DH is in a foul mood (nights last night) and is in 'his' armchair dozing with another dog curled up beside him.
Third dog is eyeing me suspiciously as she's on meds that she doesn't appreciate.
DS came straight home from work and out to see his girlfriend.
Oh and big boy cat is guarding the house sitting in the front window whilst fat giro cat is snoring on the other armchair.
We live a very wild life here.

No idea although a likely guess is DS giving DH the run around about going to bed. I am on a bus into the city centre for the first time in nearly 2 years. I am going out out with my best mate - woo hoo!

DH is putting baby to bed. I'm about to cook ribs (I'll probably burn them). Then I'm going to carry on sewing DD's fancy dress outfit for Friday (tomorrow's is already done - carnival is big here and nursery has s different theme every day this week). Friday is 1920's theme. She's 8 months old. I'm making a flapper babygrow!

DH sitting at the dining table working on his laptop. He was on a professional development course today and is recapping the material. I am sitting at the opposite end, supposed to be reading some pre course material but actually on Mumsnet. Dd and ds are drinking their pre bed milk and when they are done we will go upstairs and brush teeth then read a bedtime story. I will start getting ready to go back to work tomorrow after having been off for 10 (glorious) days.

I'm on MN and doing a bit of tidying. DH and DS2 are watching England women play Germany. DD and DS1 are in their rooms - maybe doing homework?

DH is cooking tea.
I'm MN-ing and watching an episode of The Kids From Fame and marvelling at how embarrassing I am finding the 'cool' dance scenes.

Sorry you had a hard day OP. My 3 kids are sleeping and husband is at work. I am about to start prepping tomorrow’s dinner. I always cook in the morning so prep at night. I will then do a bit of ironing and have some dinner.

I'm reading a book that a MsN wrote. Really getting into it now

Relaxing here after dinner. I am in the sofa with PurplecatDog and one of the Purplecat posse, and my OH is in the other room faffing about on his computer. All is quiet.

MNing while I'm waiting for DH to get DS off to sleep so we can enjoy a takeaway curry - half term has been full on 🤪

DP's out so I'm cuddled up with the toddler and baby watching paw patrol and eating biscuits. It's bedtime for the little ones soon

Im in bed. Have had awful fatigue since getting covid in jan and struggle to stay up past 8pm.
Having a quick scroll through MN then off to sleep.

I’m looking after my dgd for a couple of hours.. dd2 has a friend for a sleepover, dd1 is eating her tea and I’m on the sofa with the dog watching coco melon

Just got newborn off to sleep and waiting on Sainsbury's delivery to show up any minute.
Baby will wake for another feed before we go to bed (hopefully) around 10.00pm, until then well put shopping away (once it arrives), put bins out and watch a bit of TV.

We’ve got pogdogs on, my sons in bed and fast asleep after insisting he wasn’t tired. I’ve got the baby sleeping on me, the dogs moaning because I won’t get his ball from under the sofa. My husbands on a night out, so very quiet here.
