In response to another thread with people sharing their experiences of meningitis it got me thinking.
The NHS has its faults but think of all they have taught us in prevention and recognising illness. The cervical smear/mammogram/colonoscopy screening, vaccinations, education about recognising meningitis, flu and all sorts.
I wonder if anyone truly knows how far reaching their impact is. I feel quite grateful for their knowledge tonight.
