Why is it so hard to get help for children with mental health difficulties. 1st time refer to camhs waiting ... waiting..... then to be rejected. So have to refer again.... so waiting waiting again.... Call crises team. To get told oh they don't work till after 5pm. Call this number instead . Which is a robot saying the call can't be taken and a message can't be left . I'm waiting for gp to call me I doubt she can do anything.
Hes had 3 counselling sessions over the phone which was once a fortnight..
That's now ended due to cut backs only help children with addiction now. i arranged that myself so was not even through professionals helping .
Sendiass are now involved but that is a waiting game as well..
I can't help but think If he was an adult it would be much more straightforward to get him help .
