Half Term Plans?

Anyone up to much? My DB is down with DSisInLaw, my niece & cockapoo so will catch up with them. Might go out for breakfast as our local Premier Inn does all you can eat for £9.50 & kids go free. They do the best fried eggs I have ever had and I am VERY fussy about fried eggs! DD13 is booked in for an Own a Pony Day. I have never heard her say yes to something so fast ! We might go to a local museum as they have pottery sessions. On Sunday I’m off shopping as I have a Primark voucher & desperately need long sleeved tops.

No plans as such, dc are upstairs gaming. I'm hoping the wind dies down but its been gale force for what seems like weeks here. If it does might have a drive further up the coast.

No plans. Weather has been awful!
DS had a friend to sleepover last night. Tomorrow he has a play date. Wednesday we are going to the dentist. Thursday he’s spending the day with DMIL.
There’s nothing on at the cinema, loads of outdoor NT type places are closed due to wind or flooding.
Maybe Lego?

No plans, weather is utter shit. Kids are older so everything is screen based. All other activities are way too expensive tbh.

I’m a teacher with a one year old. He’s in nursery today while I do some marking. He’s then with just me for the next couple days so we are off to some of the baby/toddler groups we went to before I went back to work and then my husband is off at the end of the week so we were trying to decide what to do but haven’t really decided yet due to the weather!

We are on our way to Ribby Hall. I find Feb half term incredibly hard due to the weather so glad we are away somewhere with a pool that DS will happily spend hours every day in.

My secondary school kids were off last week and this week my ds in y3 is on half term. We are going bowling with friends, to the baths with a wave pool, to the local museum and out to an ice-cream parlour, to a butterfly enclosure and he's off for a trip out with his Grandma today.

But when he writes about what he did on his holidays he will exclusively talk about going on his brothers vr headset Hmm

I’ve got covid for half term so am bumming out feeling annoyed as we were meant to go on holiday for the week.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 21/02/2022 11:04

Half term here this week, so I'm off work Grin Weather is awful, so lots of cups of tea and reading today I think. Teenage DSs will almost certainly make plans that require mum's taxi, but nothing firm yet
