I've poured water through it which has def helped but can smell it when the radiator has come on

Get a radiator brush?
Does it have a grill on top they usually come off then ot should be a case of stiff wire and a soapy cloth and rinse and repeat

Get it taken off the wall. This is your best bet.

Or, you could try a solution of bicarb to clean with. And dilute some fabric conditioner for the final rinse and clean with that.

Do you have carpet underneath? Wondering how wet you can get the area and if any is in the carpet....

You can get radiator pipe cleaning type brushes, got mine off eBay.

Wooden floor thankfully!! I'm liking the idea of a radiator pipe cleaner. I'm sure I could fashion one.. Really don't want to take it apart.

I'm on a house cleaning mission today and getting in about the cables behind the back of the TV to pull everything apart and get them organise, removing the radiator is not in my plan! The cat throwing up has already pushed me back He's currently curled up on the couch peering at my through a sleepy eye wondering what all the fuss is about

Bicarb and white vinger and a radiator brush - and don't turn it on until it's properly cleaned.

Then leave the above mixture with sliced lemon in a bowl or two around the room.

1 radiator brush ordered! Means i can put it off until it's delivered and not feel bad... Have switched the radiator off in the meantime! Feel a bit gross I haven't cleaned it before, now I know there's an actual implement I can get for it...
