What is the mintiest toothpaste these days?

When I was growing up SR toothpaste was strong enough to almost take your breath away. Likewise a clear green one called Close Up.

Toothpaste these days is just a bit....meh? Are there any really strong ones available?

Macleans if they still do it.

Weirdly, Colgate seems to have acquired a monopoly on toothpaste sales. I fondly remember the days of Crest, Mentadent, Signal, UltraBrite, Close-Up etc.

I think you can still get Macleans, that might be worth a go

I'd like the opposite for my kid 🤣. Which toothpaste do you hate OP?

LaQuern · 19/02/2022 20:39

Currently all of them!! We have oral B at the moment ('I didn't know oral B did toothpaste....)

It's rather limp on the minty front

Lidl's Dentalux is really minty

LaQuern · 19/02/2022 21:05

@LadyMonicaBaddingham I might give that a go, I doubt it would be too expensive if I find out it's not strong enough!

I've been using Oral B and I thought it was me as it doesn't leave my mouth fresh and minty. Their toothbrushes are rubbish too.

I was brought up on Colgate toothpaste and Wisdom toothbrushes. I think I'm going to go back to them.
