I received one of these for Christmas and sent the sample of shortly after. It’s now been 7 weeks and it’s not showing as received on their system.

I contacted the company who said they would send out another one if I wanted but that would invalidate the first one I sent if it did arrive (which, knowing my luck, would be the day after they sent the new one).

Did anyone else get one for Christmas and send it off around then? Anyone’s been received?

And while I wait, has anyone gone through the process and found out anything interesting?

My Grandad had one for Christmas sent off beginning of January and still showing as not received, I was going to chase them up this week

That sounds like a long time. In your shoes I’d get a new kit.

It takes ages and doesnt always show on the tracking so bear with it another couple of weeks.

Thanks for the replies, maybe it’s worth waiting then. It just seems a lot of money to spend for such a long wait!

Mine took ages (can't remember how long but I wasn't impressed at the time), but once it's been logged on their system you'll be kept updated on progress. Have you registered on the app?

My timeline is as follows

Registered 19 dec
Arrived at lab 27 jan
Extracted 16 feb
Genotype 16 feb

Results expected between 24 feb and March 10

Taking forever!

My son got one for Christmas, he’s had the results for ages.

@Intheshit1 so about 5 weeks from registering to arrival…I’ve just passed 7 weeks. Sigh

I have the app and I’ve registered on it. Just all this damn waiting!

I've been quite lucky. Posted on 15/1. Received on 7/2 and I got the results on 16/2. My dh did his at the same time, but no results for him yet

Sorry...just realised it's not 2022 anymore.
