Costly Co-Op Coleslaw!

Tbh I’m in a fortunate enough position not to really notice, or be worried about slight increases in food prices. However, popped to the Co-Op today for a tub of my favourite coleslaw - been buying it for as long as I remember and it’s usually £1.25, often on offer at £1.00. But today it was £1.85!! How on earth do they justify this?
I’ve decided to boycott it Grin

A full weekly shop in the Co-op probably costs more than Waitrose. I have always found it very expensive but you pay for the convenience.
Yes... coop is very expensive imo. I went in a year or so ago to buy a single can of tuna...I think it was about £2.50!

Was it diamond encrusted tuna?

Tbf the co op is a bloody rip off. I pop in occasionally for odd things as it's closer than tesco and everything in there seems about 25% more expensive.

Make it my dad's Canadian and makes the best colesaw such a English trait to buy it. So simple much more than salsa etc. The ingredients can last for a week unlike other salads.

Our small co-op is bonkers with its random price changes. Last week the chocolate oranges were 1.50 as I bought a couple for my DD's. Today I glanced at them and they were 3.50!!!!! Its actually offensive how they can do that.

Well you'd think! I find co-op on a par price wise with Waitrose and I know where I'd rather shop!

Yes, only English people buy Coleslaw. It's not even sold in Canadian Supermarkets!
