Flying from Bristol at 2pm
Currently flights are still departing
The airline is recommending leave extra time to get to the airport
Severn Bridge is still open

WTF am I supposed to do?????

If it's all running still you surely just carry on?

Blimey, Bristol is a windy airport anyway! 😬 Until it's cancelled you will have to carry on as if it's happening, it may well be significantly delayed though, take plenty of airport supplies.

I was expecting lots of 'oh no just stay indoors' replies so I'm glad everyone else thinks I've just got to go with it until told otherwise

By the forecast the worst should have passed Bristol by then.

Sadly until flights cancelled you’ve got to get there. Then if it’s cancelled you can I think claim refund etc.

Where I am the boats are cancelled from today. Boats to France and Uk. (In jersey) people at work got the cal yesterday and had to go. So for some half term started early. For others who are on hols No boats are coming back. It’s shit.

But not much can be done about weather.

I thought they were going to close both Severn Crossings according to the BBC so the chances of you getting to the airport are slim.

Well GMB are reporting both bridges are closed, but the official website shows still open

I can always go cross country to Gloucester then down the M5 to Bristol, hence leaving 2 hours travelling time

Are you in or travelling through the Red Weather Warning Area? If so you should not be leaving home during that time.

At least 4 flights for this morning have already been cancelled from Bristol OP but you may be ok this afternoon?

I agree with PPs, unless you want to cancel or postpone the trip, for now you have to act as if the flight is going on time, but take advice about allowing extra time to get there, because if the flight goes and you're not on it, you lose your money.
