Job interview tomorrow

I have a job interview tomorrow for my dream job and I’m so nervous. I’ve done some prep and have had my partner ask me some interview questions but I’m lacking in confidence even answering him. Does anyone have any tips?

Look up commonly-asked STAR method questions and make yourself a list of prepared answers; even better if some of your answers could apply to different situations! Don't be afraid to ask if you can check your notes in a question leaves you stumped. IME interviewers like notes, having them shows you've prepared and you're serious about the interview.

Depending on the job think about a couple of experiences or situations you’ve dealt with that would cover a few different skills, eg working as part of a team, working independently, driving a project to completion, attending to the needs of clients, having a difficult conversation etc. Try not to think about lots of different examples because you’ll get confused just pick a couple you can talk about with confidence and use the STAR method to think about how you’d explain them to show different aspects of your skills and experience.

Good luck 🤞
