My son is 2 next month and has never been a great sleeper, but for a period of 3-4 months he slept through but this all stopped about mid december. Id put him in his cot no problem say night and leave but he would wake about 3- 4 and i could either settle him or he wouldnt settle but would in our bed ( big mistake i know 🤦♀️)
In january one night i put him down as usual then heard him 10 mins later i went up and he was on the landing had climbed out of his cot this continued so i coverted it to a bed.
Since then its gone from bad to worse he now will only fall asleep with me in the room if i leave he screams and throws all his bedding etc over the gate on his on door. He wakes at around 11pm but once i go in he walks him self to bed and goes back off he then can wake again between 1-3 either will demand a bottle and go back to sleep or scream but may sleep in our bed or can be awake for 2-3 hours but active wont try and sleep or be peaceful.
Hes pulled 3 all nighters - ive tried everything crying it out, controlled crying, longer naps in day shorter ones .. im now losing the will to live and just dont know what else to try.
Any advice would be appreciated 🙏
