Hi mamas!
My son (year 2) doesn't seem that happy at his local state school, despite this being ranked Outstanding and having nice facilities. I think he is struggling with the size of the classes, and there has also been a bit of bullying on the playground
I'm looking to move him to an independent prep school somewhere nearby in North London (we are currently near Highgate and East Finchley). I'm looking for somewhere very nurturing, but with a good academic focus, as we would eventually like him to do the 11 plus.
Bonus points for ethnic diversity, and good sports facilities. Any recommendations? We have come across Hendon Prep, and North London Grammar School. Does anyone have views on these?
