Anyone used this, and actually made friends?

I've just downloaded it and put all my pictures in and done the bio/questions.

I haven't made any friends from the app as such but I've definitely seen women on there I've recognised from baby groups I go to. So it's helped me to start conversations with some of them, I guess! One of them and I messaged to say hello as we lived nearby and then bumped into each other at a baby class the following week by coincidence. We didn't really chat through the app but I guess it made us start a conversation in real life. We've met up quite a bit since then with a couple of other friends. I have made more friends through baby classes but it was worth a try.

When I first had dd I downloaded it as I had PND and was desperate to find other mums to talk to - I was the only one of my friends who had a baby. Anyway I was put off because the first person I talked to and then met was an MLM'er and I didn't realise until I figured out why she was so smiley and friendly and did 'mums coffee mornings' at her house and went away for weekends etc - she had invited me to a coffee morning but I realised she would be attempting to either sell me stuff or get me to sign up under her. Deleted it after that as I lost confidence I'd actually find anyone that actually wanted to be friends on there. It felt predatory for her to do that to vulnerable new mums on there.

I've been using peanut since I first found out I was pregnant, I unfortunately had a miscarriage and that shattered my world.
I found a great support and network of women on peanut who have been through the same thing and I've connected with people who are going through the same thing.
This is been a serious help for me and so happy to have a place like peanut to share those things
