Getting through to DWP

sausagerole · 15/02/2022 10:53

I need to speak to someone at the DWP about my children's DLA claim (not a query that can be answered online)

I've called four times over 3 days and spent 20m in a queue each time with no success.

Does anyone have any tips for actually getting through to them?!?

Just checking if you got through?

I've tried twice at 30 mins a pop! Its infuriating!!

Do you have any tips for me?? Grin

Haha I wish I did but I've given up! I'll be honest, they raised the award for one of my children meaning we get more money - I'm so unconvinced that can happen without a fight that I want to check it's not an error Grin also, I don't want to pay it back in the future!

Hopefully it’s just all corset. Just in case sure to keep award letters. You could also for future record dates and time and length of time waiting and if you do speak to someone note down that info and name.

Correct not corset!

Good luck. I've been trying on and off since Christmas. I only need to let them know change of address and can't see I can do this online.

Put it in writing and send the letter recorded delivery. Also photocopy the letter. This should also work for pp change of address.
