Online dating red flags

What are yours ?

  • Obviously using a pseudonym,
-Overly secretive when talking to them..."what do you for work?" "why do you want to know?" -Add me on Snapchat on their bio.....who over15 uses Snapchat ?! -Long paragraph's about how they've been Catfished/ let down on online dating previously. -Photo's with your own kids, fine. Photos with very borrowed looking nieces/ nephews/ younger cousins/ friends kids, not fine. -Turning conversation sexual within two minutes.

( I am fortunately in a relationship now so don't have to deal with the purgatory that is online dating now, but I was talking to a friend about the utter dross that is on there).

Just to clarify, "obviously a pseudonym" is men who put their initials on there etc rather than a first name.

Also photos of drugged looking tigers/ lions/ elephants in chains.... who finds blatant animal cruelty a turn on.
Rudely demanding full length pictures as soon as you start talking to "check you are not too fat."

As a long term user of dating apps, absolutely unsuccessfully I have plenty of knowledge ..

Reverse image search their pics, if they look too good to be true, they generally are. I once had a fella message me, really good looking so I immediately searched his profile pic, turned out he was a model from Argentina! When I asked him I was instantly blocked!

No 'about me' is always a concern. Too lazy to write a small intro, not really serious about meeting anyone.

Sexting within the first 2 messages! Nope. Move on.

When you get chatting and they are saying everything you want to hear - RED FLAG! It's all bullshit...

Those who's online pattern is generally when they're at work or REALLY late at night (when their partner is asleep), that usually signifies a cheater.
