Freddo's have failed me

Seen a number of threads here over the last year or so bemoaning the shocking state of Cadbury products.
Still, I hung on, not noticing much until recently. The dairy milk bars do seem to taste sickly now, and don't melt in my coffee like they used too...

Some stated that Buttons and Freddo had escaped the wrath of Mondelez, but i can now attest, as a long standing Freddo connoisseur, that it too has gone over to the dark side.

I shall miss him :(

Oh no. My DM will be heartbroken. She doesn’t eat chocolate often (unlike me Blush ), but a freddo was her “treat” of choice Sad

ConfusedParticle · 14/02/2022 13:23

yeh, one dairy milk product every two weeks for me.
ruined now.

The Aldi Moser Roth might be an alternative. It has 4 mini bars in the pack. I haven’t tried the milk chocolate one sorry, but the dark chocolate one is really good. That’s if, unlike me, you can resist the other 3 sitting there in your fridge, calling to you…….

I think Twirls are still decent?

Or Irish Cadburys if you can find any of that?

AdmiralCain · 14/02/2022 13:58

Yeah that bloody Kraft woman, moving all the jobs abroad, refusing to appear infront of a commons select comity, changing the recipe, putting less in and charging more.
What is it now for a Freddo, 80p?!
The great-great-great grandson of John cadbury has his own company after being mortified what happened to his families company, check it out!

I am so disappointed that I can't find any gluten free love cocoa products. I love chocolate, and I would really like to support this company. I will keep checking back to make sure they have not added any new products I would be able to eat.

Oh no. I should never have clicked on that link. My chances of resisting all of that lovely lot are slim to zero!!

Has anyone tried Love Cocoa? Does it taste like old Cadbury's??
