What do to if you need to off but don’t get paid sick pay?

I am having some health issues, the side effects of which will effect my job atm (I am a part time PA for a disabled lady which involves driving, some of my current health issues include extreme dizziness which obviously isn’t a great for driving).
The issue is that I don’t get paid sick pay. In the 3 years I have being employed by her I haven’t had any time off sick.
I have just looked online, it says you need to earn at least £120 to claim Statutory Sick pay. I only earn £90 per week.
What can I do?

I think you would have to apply for ESA or Universal Credit depending on your circumstances. Contact Citizens Advice.

When my statutory sick pay ran out I moved on to ESA (based on my National Insurance Contributions).
