I will make a roast of some sort (if I cannot persuade the DH and DCs to go to our local very good pub) and just can't decide.

I would love to know what you have (with sides also)!

Thanks!!

DP doing roast chicken later, with roast potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, gravy and loads of bread sauce. Nice bottle of white wine to go with

Cooking a large chicken and a small gammon today. Serving it with roast potatoes, parsnips, sweet potato, onions and carrots.
Alongside stuffing, yorkshire puds for the dc, sprouts and asparagus and bread sauce.
That's for 3 of us
Hoping for lots of leftovers for a roast veg crumble (yum) for tomorrows dinner and sandwiches for tomorrows lunch.

@bobbythevet Grin

I tried to book the pub online but they are working a standby list only from 11.30-4 pm! IME they have run out of roast well before 4 pm.

So the menu du jour is;

slow roast lamb with oregano and lemon
roast potatos with some rosemary over it for adults
roast med veg with feta and balsamic
green beans with flaked almonds
DH is having pepeprs stuffed with coucous and raisons and flaked almonds.

One of my DCs has major food issues so I will serve up the above but if he eats a bit of lamb, some potato and some sliced fresh topmatoes and cucumber I will be happy. The younger DC is exactly like me and eats anything smaller than his head.

I rarely cook pork so am taking note of the lovely pork ideas on this thread for next week. :)
