Cervical Cancer?

The last 3 months my periods have become very light and hardly last a day. I'm only 30. I hadn't really noticed until today how odd that is. Could it be Cervical Cancer? My Smear test is due now so I will get it booked. But is it likely? I'm panicking a bit now.

Try not to worry, my periods stopped for two years completely, there’s plenty of things that can effect it from pregnancy (have you tested?) hormonal imbalance, pcos, just chat to your doctor about it

Only a medical professional can answer your question after having a good look at your cervix, however, when I had it the only symptom I had was bleeding after sex. It didn't affect my periods at all (although they caught it very early and it was only a small area of cancerous cells).

Go to your g.p. anyway and tell them about the change in your periods and see where you go from there.

Have you had the Covid vaccine? Similar thing happened to me after being vaccinated last year, I now take the mini pill and don't have a monthly bleed, so no idea what they would be like now.

I wouldn’t assume this is cervical cancer at all - which usually causes more bleeding and bleeding between periods, after sex, etc. I would assume this is something more hormonal.

I haven’t been sleeping well for a few months. Wondering if that could affect things?

I wouldn’t even think of cervical cancer. Symptoms are usually bleeding after sex, bleeding between periods and pain during sex. Skipping periods or having lighter periods is usually hormonal, can also be diet/exercise change or stress. Ask a GP for some blood tests.

Yes having done some research on good ol’ doctor Google I think maybe I’m not ovulating.
Which is an absolute pain as ttc DC3. I’ll ask GP about it.
In the meantime is there anything I can do to kickstart things again?
