Best company for small storage unit

Can anybody save me the research, here? I'm in the South East, and wanting to put some stuff, probably half a shed sort of space, or even less, into storage for a few months.

You can't just look up the prices, can you, you have to give them your details and then they contact you, which makes it seem interminable!

Has anyone recently done this and have wisdom they'd be willing to share?

Thanks

God, I need more coffee, I read that title and thought 'I've never worried about my storage units getting lonely.'

Were in Yorkshire, but we looked where the most convenient one was. Didn't want to be driving miles unnecessarily.

Regardless of the price, think very carefully if you really need to do this. I stored some stuff a few years ago 'for a few months'. Two and a half years layer I realised I'd spent more in storage costs than the items were worth Shock.

I will probably end up worrying about that, but that's not my concern right now Wink

Yes, that's a good point, thank you.

A local company rent out storage containers, I'm also south east and they're £130+vat (£156) per month. It's prob a lot bigger than what you were looking for tho but may give you an idea on price.

50 square feet - £50 a week 😱 just signed up this morning. That was indoor storage in a warm ish warehouse type building, I'm putting some furniture in for a few months. There were cheaper/larger options available but they didn't meet my needs. It's not very big floor area at all, but quite tall so I should be able to stack some of it
