World Book Day- Storytellers

Thought I had got lucky this year as last year's World Book Day costumes (that weren't worn to school due to Covid) still fit. However, school have now said that they don't want book characters this year, they want children to go as storytellers.

Can you share some ideas of storytellers (male and female) that they can dress as with minimal effort. I'm in the middle of
a medical flare up so can't have limited ability/ time/ money to spend on this but don't want DC to be left out. Thanks

Do they mean...authors?

That's so annoying as well. Surely just dress them up anyhow and give them an author's name, few of them have discernible characteristics (I don't even know what most look like)

Unless I'm not understating what a 'storyteller' is

Do they mean authors or groups renowned for story telling like pirates, Greeks, pilgrims, cowboys, teachers? If the former, you can wear something victorian-ish looking and a Dickens/Brontë name badge!
