Vaccinations (not COVID)

My dd has recently been offered a new job and they needed to know a fair bit about her medically, including what vaccinations she has had.

Our lovely GP did her a print out of her vaccination record, BUT it doesn't include any of the vaccines she had at school. From memory, this was the cervical cancer one in Yr7 and some others in (possibly meningitis. Possibly tetanus booster??) in Yr10. I don't remember the detail now, but know she has always had what the recommended vaccinations were.

Is this usual?
As it was part of a National vaccination programme and offered to the whole year group, why isn't it on her vaccination record?

Is there anything we can do to get them added ?

What vaccines does she need to prove she’s had? Usually it’s just the MMR and possibly hepatitis A/B. The sorts of things that could be transmitted in work settings (think, the NHS). They can test your immunity and you can get the jab again if non-immune if needed for occupational reasons. I suspect they aren’t on her record because electronic records didn’t exist back then.

She's not that old Grin

There was a whole list that came from the new employers - it seemed somewhat out of date to me. For example it was asking about TB jab which they haven't routinely given for some years (though I suppose had I got the job, I have had mine).
I don't want to be too specific, but I can understand the need for the employers to have a good understanding of what she is / isn't immune to (from?).

She has replied to them with what she can, and is waiting for an answer back, but it was more me pondering generally, my surprise that nobody's school vaccinations are on their medical records, or if other people's are, then why hers aren't.

Do an Internet search for a 0-19 hub in your area and contact them, they should be able to give you a record of all vaccines given.
School nurses work within 0-19 teams in many areas and therefore will have a record of vaccines given in schools.
