Help.. DLA decision

Hi all just looking to see time frames for others dla, I applied for dla for Lo on the 10th August but got a letter on 9th November to say she has been turned down I asked for a reconsideration and haven't heard anything back since.. she is awaiting ASD diagnosis!! Anyone in know how long they usually take?

Reconsideration should usually be within ten days to a month. Get back to them. They will ask you to do it over the ‘phone but you’re better off doing it in writing.

I done it over the phone the day it got turned down but haven't heard anything since that was 13 weeks ago 😕

Did you send extra medical evidence or anything to support the claim? If not then they could be chasing that up maybe?

Hello I don't no if anybody can help me I rang for a claim pack for my son on the 6 of December and received it and sent it back 11 of January but got it back on the second one of February because I forgot to sign the declaration and had to get it back but the 16 of feb so I sent it back in the 8 of feb now to be told it will take another 10 weeks to get a decision is this correct as it's already bin ten weeks from when I first requested the form
