Me and ex split up a few months ago. He has been living at parents. We have a DS together.
The telephone line/TV/Internet package has always been paid from my bank account but the account is in his name. At the time, we didn't change this, as he rang them and apparently me and DS would be without the TV/Internet for a while and would need new box etc as I would need to make an account and sign up with them.
All seemed a faff at the time, so we just kept it as it was.
Now I am moving address. They won't speak to me as I am not the account holder. I asked ex to cancel everything and he is not cooperating because he is unhappy I am moving (it's actually not far at all and he could still see DS the same amount, he just likes to have control which is one reason we split).
Can I ring my bank and stop the monthly payment to the internet company when I move?
