Universal credit - can't sign in

Morning, is anyone else having a problem with UC this morning?

I'm trying to sign in but it says it's sending a text message with a security number, but despite numerous tries I'm not receiving the number.

Just wondered if it was just me or a standard problem today.

Yes I’ve had the same issue. I ended up saying I had an issue with my phone and got a code sent to my email instead.

Got no text code on Sunday or before 9.30 this morning.
This afternoon, the first code never arrives and when I ask for a new code it is expired. No code sent in the last hour at all.

How do I contact anyone if I can't access my account, I have never been to an office or had a letter off them. It is all done through the account. The odd email always say you can't reply and they have only rung me about 7 times in two years.

Does everyone's month finish on the 5th on Universal Credit ?

Took fireenginegirls advice and finally got in via email link for code.

Having declared my SE earnings I saw I also have an appointment to meet SE work coach.

Monday evening and I have received an avalanche of texted codes sent hours too late and are now expired.

Yes I’ve had the same issue. I ended up saying I had an issue with my phone and got a code sent to my email instead.
I didn't want to do that incase it deleted my phone number for good. 😂 have now received 15 text messages with various numbers so looks like it should be working properly by tomorrow

I had that issue on Thursday but luckily had an appointment that day so informed them. Even showed the amount of texts with different numbers to use to log in. None worked.

Hey how did you report it and get a code sent to your email address? As I'm having issues getting a code as well

I had the issue as described above getting a working text code.

I think it comes under If you cannot get a code by text (or similar wording) and it allows you to use your email address. That was how I got a working code to get onto my Journal in the end.

Delete some of your unused apps on your phone I had the same issue . Too much memory used on your phone stops your messages coming through
