My Eufy vac , I love it but its just eaten my boot laces .

Tubes of tomato puree , easy , convenient , cheap but can I get them to stay in place in the cupboard if I have a few , NOPE they always slide out . I know I can get tins but I wouldn't use a whole one.

My steam cleaner , a little cheap one for cleaning the cooker / tile grout etc does a good job - but the cable is too short

Printer - enough said !

What do you have in your home that you like but for one fault / design flaw?

( if its your DH / DW / DP/ DC see if you can find the receipt aka birth cert and take them back for a refund Grin )

Oh yes. Lots of things will need to think properly.

Love love my super king bed bought after storm arwen in a rage to accommodate us all in the event of ten days no power, want to cry changing it.

Tomato purée yes.

My kitchen table. I went to buy a dresser from a lady from gumtree. Table was outside, waiting for skip so she gave me it. I love it but it's just the size and height that I have a permanent bruised thigh.

The open fire but the dust and emptying it. Want to hoover it from outside!

Taciturn · 07/02/2022 21:15

You can buy Tomato puree in a jar and store it in the fridge :-)

AffIt · 07/02/2022 21:20

My Oral-B electric toothbrush. I love it, it makes my teeth lovely and clean and zingy, but I drool everywhere and it doesn't give me enough time between 'quarter changes' to spit.

I admit this may be user error / idiot handling, though.

NewYearCalavicci · 07/02/2022 23:03

@Peasandcabbage , how on earth do you manage with a super king-size bed , I would need to have a long lie down on it once I had changed it .

I grew up with a open fire , I loved it but it was my job to lay it, my DB had to clean it out and he was forever trying to get me to swap.

@Taciturn
I have seen passata in a jar but never tomato puree I will have to keep an eye open for this.

@AffIt
I have never tried using a electric toothbrush cos I am sure I would decorate the ceiling with toothpaste and spit ( blurgh)

Breville toaster. Thanks for the toasties and the removable plates are great, but gunge ends up in the hinges and gubbins down the back. Impossible to get properly clean.

Indoor slippers that have loud bottoms. We have hard wood floors in most of the house and I can hear dh wherever he goes. Drives me nuts.

Alexa. When she understands she's brilliant, when she doesn't I get so stroppy that I unplug her!

GeneLovesJezebel · 08/02/2022 07:28

Open the tin of purée and put it into ice cube trays for perfect portion sizes.

I feel seen. I feel heard. I feel understood.

For those of you who hate cleaning fires. An ash vacuum is your friend

I made the mistake of buying one without removable plates. I therefore never use it.

TroysMammy · 08/02/2022 08:18

I store my tomato puree in the fridge wedged behind the jars on the shelf on the door.

FinallyHere · 08/02/2022 08:36

@Peasandcabbage

Super king bed, double duvet each.

Game changer.

Useranon1 · 08/02/2022 09:02

Open tubes of tomato purée should be in the fridge! Mine lives in the door

lurkingfromhome · 08/02/2022 09:03

My Eufy robot vac. I like it BUT it either tries to crawl up all the stools around the breakfast bar then every chair around the dining table and gets stuck, or I have to spend so long lifting each stool and chair out of the way that I may as well just use a normal vacuum cleaner. It's not the miracle worker it's meant to be.

NewYearCalavicci · 08/02/2022 10:23

@GeneLovesJezebel oooh that's a good idea , thank you.
I have always stored my open Tom puree in the cupboard, I keep all my open condiments in the cupboard too .
( not dead yet Smile )

I keep thinking about getting a sandwich toaster but I hate the idea of cleaning the buggers .
