Does anyone know what time the GCSE topics are due to be released tomorrow?

I wonder how general they will be.

I'd expect early as they've had plenty of notice. Not expecting anything useful for maths though.

As an aside, I have seen the results are going to be pegged to be half way between the 2019 and the 2021 results. Will November resits also be pegged higher than usual, does anyone know?

They have had plenty of notice hopefully they won't be like the DFE and it will be 5pm.

Grade boundaries in November aren't set by proportion of grades like they are in the summer because it's a much smaller and different cohort (v few 9s expected, for example).

Here's a blog about how they set the November grade boundaries ofqual.blog.gov.uk/2019/11/01/maintaining-standards-in-november-gcses/ I'd expect them to be comparing standards in November to summer, which would result in higher grades than previous years as standards will be lower.

We did. My son took them again year 13 November and finally passed.

Any news on this update?

Think they are all out, go to the exam board website for each subject, there’s a link on the main page.

Looking at them - they're not terribly helpful are they?
