The nightingale of Bollywood, and the first Indian to perform at Royal Albert Hall. Passed away after hospitalisation due to Covid at age 92.

RIP, she was an incredible singer. She always came across as a really down to earth lady in all her interviews.

Indeed, a no-nonsense person all around. Never married! Singing was her life.
