Any recommendations for a post-theatre meal in Covent Garden/Leicester Square area?

I'm going to the theatre soon and will be in the Covent Garden/Leicester Square area. I want somewhere that is different the normal chain restaurants, but not overly pricey or fussy food. I'm quite a boring person when it comes to food and like things like veggie burgers, pasta dishes, pizzas, etc.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Head into Soho

Anything decent in CG is expensive (other than Honest Burger if you’d like that), anything in LS is expensive and dire.

Pizza pilgrims, Rudys and a couple of others are all good in Soho for basic pizza. Actually Homeslice in CG used to be good too.

10 Greek St is a step up for pizza.

Lina Stores is absolutely delicious pasta

Neat burgers and honest burgers in soho.

Or Mildreds is the classic long standing veggie place - they do them too. I am not a huge fan of the food, but lots of people are and I haven’t been there for years. It’s jolly.

If you like Chinese food as long as it’s accessible then try Gerrard’s Corner in China Town (btwn LS and Soho), nothing fancy but a long standing institution (it does look very 1950s basic though..)

Have a nice night!

What time are you thinking of eating? Could be pretty late if you're coming out of the theatre, which might restrict your options.
