Is it

A. Valentines launching tonight
B. Valentine's launching tonight

OP posts:

B

It's a bit weird though.

LordEmsworth · 05/02/2022 10:04

If you're trying to say "valentine is launching" then B. Sounds like a euphemism though ...

mynameiscalypso · 05/02/2022 10:05

Valentine's what is launching tonight? I know launching can act as a noun but it feels like it's missing one.

AliMonkey · 05/02/2022 10:05

Depends what you are launching - if you’re sending everyone’s partners into space then A is right. Assuming you are in fact launching your Valentine’s Day offers or similar then B is better. But really you need a noun after Valentine’s, such as Day or card or meal or offer or preferably both eg Valentine’s Day cards launching today.

CheesusTheSaviour · 05/02/2022 10:06

Is Valentine launching something? Or are you launching Valentine?

SuspiciousHumanoid · 05/02/2022 10:06

B

Chewbecca · 05/02/2022 10:08

What’s the context? It’s incomplete currently.

HunkyPunk · 05/02/2022 10:09

B, assuming ‘Valentine’s’ is shorthand for Valentine’s Day? What’s being launched?

Yankydoodledandy · 05/02/2022 10:10

This. Is 'launch' a good word to use? It sounds too like 'lunch'. Besides, aren't you a bit late ... the shops have moved on to Mothering Sunday and Easter.Grin

How can Valentine's weekend be launching tonight? Confused
