MRI Results

I had an MRI a week ago and was told I’d get the results within 7-10 days. I’ve received a letter this morning with no results but an appointment to attend for an EEG. I’m worried that this means something has shown up on the MRI and of course it’s bloody Saturday and I can’t get through to anyone.

Anyone had this? Could this mean something bad has shown up on the MRI?

I’d assume the MRI is clear if they’re doing an EEG. Presumably you’re suffering from black outs or similar? And they’re trying to find the cause.

It was a first seizure clinic I was at and they ordered an MRI. I was advised I’d get the results in 7-10 days but I’ve not had any yet.

I spoke with the secretary this morning who said EEG is just standard alongside an MRI and the results probably won’t have been looked at yet. So I was trying to reassure myself that if it was something sinister they would’ve phoned me straight away but I’m guessing not if they’ve not even looked at the results yet!
