What side for this meal?

I went to the fish market this morning and bought some cod, brie and bacon fish cakes, which I’m looking forward to having for tea.

Any suggestions on what they would go well with?

Wedges and a green veg

New potatoes parboiled, then baked with oil, sea salt and black pepper

Buttered spinach

New potatoes, and steamed asparagus with hollandaise sauce, served wit a glass of chilled Chablis or Entre Deux Mers.

I'd probably have them with new pots and a nice salad or I'd have two and just salad

Any of the above would be lovely.

New potatoes, green beans and creamed spinach.

Salad and a poached egg on top.

Yes a poached egg! Perfect.

Love them but I cannot cook them at all
