So school informed me today that dc 15 is having suicidal thoughts. Crisis team were called. Advised me to stay home for now.
Apparently a low past year. Which we all have had. Covid and lack of routine etc. Dc has tbh been foul.
Recently refused to agree to come on our booked holiday. Sleeping /eating at wrong times. School work worries dc did admit to.
Adding up and finding a notebook dc is self harming. Possibly goaded by an online site.. Have had to go to work. Have removed laptop and anything sharp. Will be home soon after dc but have no idea how to handle it.
Worse still is some SA from over a decade ago hasn't risen to the surface as yet. Therapy afterwards ended and we moved on. As did dc very well. Hadn't grasped the enormity as a very small child. Is this the root cause?
