My GP has just rung me in last half hour saying I’ve had a positive QFIT stool sample, said it’s not very high but results are indicative of bleeding in the bowel and need seeing within 2 weeks at hospital. History of weeks of bright red bleeding, diarrhoea, pelvic pain, anaemia and exhaustion .
I’m 30, I’m absolutely terrified.
He didn’t say what was likely to happen, and I haven’t told my family at all as don’t know how to . I need to tell them now but what do I say? My legs are shaking .
