Not sure what to do. I have emailed her preschool teacher but every night she’s saying this and it’s absolutely breaking my heart. She’s saying she doesn’t want to go to nursery and wants to stay at home with me. I’m pregnant and due in early April so not sure if it’s that. I started maternity leave very early so I’m already at home and have been for a few weeks.

She’s honestly lovely. I know everyone says that but she is. She’s shy, a bit quiet and sensitive but is so sweet natured.

I was bullied badly at school so that’s probably also having an effect on my emotions but it’s absolutely breaking my heart. I want to pull her out and keep her at home with me forever.

Three year olds don’t really do friends. It suddenly happens when they are four. Both mine talked about being alone and playing alone but they just mean parallel play. They somehow can’t coordinate starting a game with someone else, or perhaps your daughter is ready but the kids she’s trying to play with aren’t. I would try and help her feel better about it but wouldn’t actually worry about it, it doesn’t mean anything.
