eBay help

I had no idea which topic to put this in so if anyone knows I will request to move it.

So I have sold a couple of things on eBay. Someone bought and paid for them and I sent them. All good, ho problems. He keeps messaging about the items and has now sent a really creepy message essentially saying he is going to masterbate over them (I will 'tribute' over the front). What he does with his property is his business but I don't want to know about it. I also want to report him to eBay for being a sleaze but can't find any way to! I have to be honest in that I was waiting to have a message from him wanting to see photos of the items being worn which would not have been sent but even this message is gross. Does anyone know where I can forward this message to within eBay or do I just leave his sleazy arse alone and let him perv away behind his screen?

There is an Ebay topic.

Weren't shoes were they? I learnt on here that 'well worn' shoes sell very well for this reason.

No they weren't shoes and the way it reads sounds like it was something dodgy. It wasn't. It was leotards

Just wanted to come on and say "Ewww!"

Isn't there a "report" button next to the sellers name? Thing is, I guess he'll just make another account.

I'm sure you can block him from being able to message you on eBay.

ClariceQuiff · 02/02/2022 17:40

Try the eBay live chat - I've found it quite helpful.

If he is sending you unsolicited sexual messages and won't stop you could also contact the police, because it's harassment.

If by any chance these were children's clothes I would certainly be reporting to the police ASAP.

The thing is he is being clever and not actually being open in the nature of his comments. He talks about having a collection he enjoys and that he wants one to be his most prized one that he is going to put his 'tribute' on the front of. These are children's leotards yes

you can block him from buying your items again & therefore messaging aboutthem, but he will still be able to message you related to the past transaction. Need to ask Ebay to block all his messages to you.

I don't care if someone is a domestic perv just don't tell me about it!

Oh, hell, report the pervert to the police Sad.

I can’t fathom how people can’t find the help and contact button. It is right there Confused

anothernamedoesntsmellsosweet · 02/02/2022 18:41

@drpet49 because I looked through and the help options weren't relevant when I went back to it I used one that wasn't entirely relevant but did it anyway. I don't use eBay much
