Which educational programs/documentaries do your DC watch?

DC gravitate to watching Minecraft on YouTube or endless marble run videos. I don't mind them having some, but I find it doesn't help their behaviour. I want to suggest some more varied things for them to watch.

Something aimed at pre-teens; engineering, culture, history etc. I always end up suggesting things like Our Planet on Netflix or other nature programs.

DD loves David Attenborough and the Spring watch type programmes. We watched lots of the "Back in time for..." series on BBC.

We have Disney + and that has the National Geographic section for ancient civilisations, history, disasters and engineering etc.

For more 'youtuber' friendly content you could watch some of the FBE kids react programmes on youtube. They have different generations reacting to different things which sparked some great conversations between Dd and myself. Things like Kids react to Blockbusters, kids react to VHS players, kids react to rotary phones. It's amazing how alien these thing are to my Dd that are so familiar to me. The college students react ones sometmes has a bit of swearing but otherwise it's appropriate or will say adults only if it's not.
