Interview Tips

I have an interview this week, first I've had in years and the first for a big corporate company I've had for even longer.
My last interview was very much 'pop in for a chat and if we like you, you're hired'.

This one is via Microsoft Teams with the head of HR. Shock

What can I do to breeze it? I'm SO excited about this position, it's perfect for me and I want them to see that but I don't want to babble or get over excited.

Any advice would be hugely appreciated!

Make sure you don’t leave a dildo on the bookshelf behind you.

Have your CV behind the screen for inspiration / confidence

Have real life examples of when you did things including

Failed / learned from it
Difficult boss
Succeeded and how you did it
Worked in a team / on your own
Communicated something difficult

I just did 3 interviews in 8 days and the 3rd was much better as I was 'in the zone' so to speak (no idea if I got the job yet!)

Good luck though

Good luck to you too @olderthanilookapparently

Some really interesting little pointers there for me to consider! I hadn't even thought about difficult situation/people.

I'm going to make some notes tonight, just to solidify the answers in my mind, rather than read from.

@GlitterSquid - well done that is great

I managed 3 interviews in 8 days last week

1 internal job (which I didn't get) and 1 external one which I did!

Good luck with the next interview
