Migraine...triptan not working

Hi. Day 2 of migraine. Took 2 sumitriptan today, didn't yesterday as they rarely survive a good night's sleep. Today I've spent all day in the dark, phone light lowest when I've used it, and taken two sumitriptan. Nada. It's definitely hormonal, but I need to work tomorrow. Any ideas or suggestions gratefully received. Thank you.

I had some dihydrocodeine off the GP when I had a bad one.

However I found them a bit strong so I very very occasionally take 2 paramol (need to get at pharmacy) - they have a lower dose of dihydrocodeine than the GP gave me.

Failing that I’d try regular paracetamol or anadin extra.
Salty food such as a cheeseburger.
Loads of cool drinks especially Pepsi, water or squash.

3 x 300mg soluble aspirin and coke/coffee. I've tried everything over past 30 years but this works best. Also, recommend reflexology for keeping them at bay.

I second this. In fact it's what the pharmacist suggested when triptans didn't work.

Thank you. I have soluble aspirin here. Will try that now. Only have decaff so will forego the coffee. Ihave paramo too i think. Will try those if still an issue in the morning. Thank you all.
