Mobility issues - a novice thread

So…. I have ME/CFS and going through a huge relapse. For the first time since I started to develop symptoms I’m looking at getting support mobility wise - mainly a mobility scooter as I can’t walk more than 10~15 mins anymore.

Not feeling so keen in using it all the time yet but at least it might allow me to do half days out and about. I’m wondering how easy it would be to take the train/drive and then use it in town centres or paths etc…

Any advice or experience?

I haven't taken mine out out yet, just a scoot around the street.

I would maybe repost this in the chronic pain board as there are a lot of us on there and many who are used to travelling alone with mobility aids.

You would be more than welcome to join us.

Oh I didn’t know there was such a thing. I’ll have a look thanks!
